President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, will be able to lead Nigeria after the elections on February 25.

In his remarks to supporters on Tuesday at the APC presidential rally in Imo state’s Dan Anyiam stadium, Buhari provided this guarantee.

He said, “I am here for Asiwaju. We are grateful for our great party. Thank you very much. There is nothing more I can tell you thank to thank you.

“We are here today, we are very grateful for your timeout. We are very grateful for your support and I can assure you that Asiwaju is going to deliver as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Thank you very much indeed!” he added.

At the Dan Anyiam stadium, the venue of the APC presidential rally in Imo state, Buhari and Tinubu had arrived together with the progressive governors and other party chieftains.

Governor Hope Uzodimma followed the President as he arrived at the stadium about 1:25 p.m.

A 15 kilometre MCC and Urratta road was officially opened by Buhari before he arrived at the event.

The President went directly to the podium to check over the platform on which Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s nominee for president, and Shettima Kashim, his running partner, would stand to address the party’s supporters.
