Popular media figure Denrele Edun from Nigeria has described his heart got broken.
On Valentine’s Day at 3am in the morning, he claimed, his potential love interest called him to tell him she didn’t love him.
Speaking in a recent interview with “Who is in My House” anchor Hawa Magaji? Denrele said, “I was jilted on Valentine’s Day. At about 3am in the morning, the person told me that she could not love me back the way I loved her. I replied that I could still love her, but I would let her go. I always remain friends with all the people I have been involved with (romantically) over the years.”
Denrele added that despite the years he has spent working in the field, people still criticize the way he dresses. I’ve been plagued by people saying I don’t wear the way one is meant to dress so much, the man stated. People still make comparisons to other media celebrities despite the fact that I style my hair and wear suits.
However, the media personality stated that he has made a decision to always be true to himself despite all obstacles.
He added, “Authenticity, for me, is about living my life on my terms, and being as original as possible in my mode of expression, in line with my beliefs.”
