Voting against the All Progressives Congress has been advised to Nigerians.

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate, made the appeal while pleading with Nigerians not to use violence in response to the terrible consequences of the Naira swap policy.

The Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) new monetary policy has made the naira scarce throughout the country, which has resulted in deadly riots and fatalities.

Kwankwaso asked Nigerians to vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC), which started and bungled the policy, in a tweet posted on his Twitter account on Thursday.

He said, “I’m concerned about reports of tensions and fracas in some parts of the country over the biting effects of the Naira redesign policy.

“While I maintain that the policy is ill-advised and timed, I call on all Nigerians to maintain law and order, and to avoid violent reactions. I also urge all of us to express our collective anger at the polls on February 25.”
