In the early hours of Sunday, bandits raided Kafin Koro Community in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State and set the Reverend Father, Isaac Achi of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church on fire to death.
Around one in the morning, the bandits allegedly broke into the neighborhood and started firing randomly as they made their way to the Rev. Father’s hilltop apartment.
Paul claimed that after some time passed and the thieves were unable to assess the late Achi’s home, they set the house on fire and waited until it was completely destroyed with him inside.
It was reported that the Divisional Police Officer was contacted, but he was unable to reach Achi before he passed away.
