Queries on Who is the most handsome man in the world may have been put to rest as Actor Regé-Jean Page has emerged as the most handsome man in the world according to scientific research.

Bifotad Media reports that the actor who starred as Simon Basset in the popular movie, Bridgerton won over other competitors after his face was calculated as 93.5 percent accurate to the Golden ratio.

British plastic surgeon, Doctor Julian De Silva who carried out the research used the “Golden Ratio” in mathematics known as Phi which was first observed by the Pythagoreans in Ancient Greece and applied to physical beauty to come out with the results.

Actor Page won after his face was calculated as 93.65 percent accurate to the Golden Ratio. Coming second was Chris Hemsworth, who had 93.53 percent  Golden Ration Accuracy, while Michael B. Jordan took third with 93.46%.

Dr. De Silva while explaining the rationale for his decision, said: “Regé won because of his classically beautiful face and gorgeous brown eyes. He had easily the highest score for his eye spacing and the positioning of his eyes also scored highly.”

He went on, “His perfectly shaped lips also scored highly and the only mark he got that was slightly lower was for his nose width and length.”

The final verdict was reached with the use of a computerized mapping measuring physical perfection based on the Golden Ratio, looking at all of the star’s features.

De Silva said, “These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”

“First, the length and width of the face are measured. Once this is done, the length is divided by the width. The ideal result is considered the Golden Ratio which should equal 1.6. This means a beautiful person’s face is about 1 ½ times longer than it is wide,” Ladner Facial Plastic Surgery revealed of the calculations.

To arrive at the final figure, three more measurements are made: from the hairline to between the eyes, from between the eyes to the bottom of the nose, and from the nose to the bottom of the chin. According to the ratio, the more equal all three are, the more perfect the face is.

Coming fourth based on De Silva’s theories after Michael Jordan is Harry Styles with 92.3%, while English footballer Jude Bellingham came fifth with 92.22%. Robert Pattinson was sixth with 92.15%.

The list continued with Chris Evans in seventh position, George Clooney in the eighth position, Henry Golding in ninth, and Dwayne Johnson taking the last spot at 10.
