Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the next elections, has given Nigerians some new commitments.
If elected, he has declared his intention to combat insecurity and reopen the nation’s borders.
The Labour Party presidential candidate claimed that poor governance and insecurity had led to terrible suffering and extreme poverty among Nigerians when he spoke in Katsina State on Monday as part of his ongoing presidential campaign.
According to Obi, “I will build a new Nigeria for all, and boost the socio-economic activities of Katsina State and the nation in general.”
Peter Obi indicated that he and his running mate, Datti Baba Ahmed, had made the decision to create a new Nigeria where security would be prioritized, guaranteeing that with security, the borders would be opened for greater trade.
He believed that in order to combat poverty, security needed to be restored and borders needed to be opened.
Obi pleaded for Nigerians to cast votes for the Labour Party in order to guarantee complete restoration of the nation.
