The music video, which debuted in February 2022 as a part of Rema’s debut album “Raves & Roses,” soon garnered popularity and achieved global recognition, especially after Selena Gomez was included in the remix.
The video is the quickest Afrobeats song to gain 100 million views in less than three months. Its success was further increased by Selena Gomez’s remix, which peaked at No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The video’s most recent achievement is that, as of January 29, 2023, TurnTable Charts announced, it is the most-watched Nigerian music video on YouTube.
